Vegan Juices

We ran 1,319 juices through our vegan rules: 24 pass, 12 need a label check, and 70 don't make it.

Fruit juice should be automatic, and mostly it is. The exceptions hide in processing: fish gelatin used to clarify some clear juices, carmine colouring in red blends, honey in a few smoothies, and D3 in fortified cartons. Our uncertain flags trace back to those.

Check the label first

For these, the data is incomplete or an ingredient can go either way. We say so instead of guessing. Tap one to see exactly what's unclear.

Verdicts are automated checks based on Open Food Facts data. Formulations change, so always confirm on the physical label.
