Palm Oil Free Nuts & Seeds
We ran 1,116 nuts & seeds through our palm oil free rules: 24 pass, 12 need a label check, and 152 don't make it.
Plain, roasted and salted nuts are cooked in their own oil or in sunflower oil and pass. Flavoured coatings and honey-roasted packs can add vegetable fat, and nut butters are the trap: many commercial spreads add palm oil to stop the oil separating, and the front of the jar says nothing about it.
